PURPOSE: To obtain a biodegradable plastic composition excellent in moldability, water resistance and resistance to environmental pollution, useful for agricultural materials, etc., by kneading in a molten state gelatinized granular starch and a specific aliphatic polyester resin under specified conditions. ;CONSTITUTION: The plastic composition can be obtained by kneading in a molten state (A) pref. 90-40wt.% of gelatinized granular starch and (B) pref. 10-60wt.% of a biodegradable aliphatic polyester resin 45-130°C in melting point (e.g. polyethylene adipate) in the presence of 1-45wt.%, based on the component A, of water.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
