PURPOSE: To provide a frame for a ventilating fan which can easily and effectively conduct a waterproof construction for preventing the invasion of rain water from a ventilating fan mount and deal with the difference of the thicknesses of an exterior finish material, and a weather cover which can be effectively and rigidly mounted in the frame. ;CONSTITUTION: A frame 1 for a ventilating fan comprises a frame body 3 inserted into a ventilating fan mounting through hole, a collar 4 provided at the periphery of the body 3, and a weather cover mount 5 provided at the outer opening end of the body 3. The frame 1 is preferably provided with a groove stripe 7 between the collar 4 and the mount 5. The cover 2 for the fan comprises a cover body 9 having a suction/exhaust port 8, a part 10 to be mounted to mount the body 9 at the mount 5 of the frame 1 for the fan by a clamping fitment 18, and a support piece 12 provided to protrude from the edge of the part 10 to be mounted toward a wall direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
