PURPOSE: To provide a method for improving the hematopoietic function of a neogenetic calf and preventing the anemia, giving an early remarkable effect for improving the hematopoietic function of the neogenetic calf and preventing the anemia, preventing the steep increase in the iron content of a plasma just after iron is administered, and relaxing side effects such as toxicity.
