PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the necessity of the participation of an operator by a method in which a control means which generates a control signal in response to the opening of a desired page comprises a radiant energy emitter and a radiant energy detector which are arranged in a cover, and an audio message associated with the page is played back. ;SOLUTION: In a photo album provided with a loose-leaf type binder 12, each page has transparent windows 30, which are formed beside a radiant energy emitter and E and a photo detector D. The emitter E and the detector D are part of a photoelectric circuit, which functions to detect the numbers of opened pages of the album automatically. An audio module 40 is attached to a back cover 24, and the module 40 emits audio information associated with the opened pages or pictures displayed on the pages in response to the pages.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
