PURPOSE: To realize a minidisk player which is reduced in thickness and in which a magnetic head and disk are not damaged by separating the head in the state of opening a cover permanently from the disk. CONSTITUTION: The minidisk player comprises a side moving plate 24 installed at one side of a deck base 3, a front surface moving plate 27 moving by receiving the longitudinal moving fore of the plate 24, an upper surface moving plate 31 moving by receiving the longitudinal fore of the plate 24 at the upper surface of a guide bracket 4, a rotary plate 37 hinge-coupled to the plate 31, and a head arm 33 hinge-coupled to the rear side of the base 3. Thus, the minidisk player in which the head and the disk are not damaged is constituted.
