PURPOSE: To improve lubrication performance at the time of engine inclination and reduce the width of an engine. ;CONSTITUTION: A rotation obit S of an oil spoon 15 is inclined to either of front, rear, right, left directions in a plan view inside an oil pan 20. Lubrication in the displaced direction at the time of engine inclination is secured by the oil spool 15. A balancer gear 12 is inclined to the opposite direction to above, while the lower half of the gear gets under a regulated oil lever L inside the oil pan 20. Lubrication in this displaced direction at the time of engine inclination is secured by the balancer gear 12. An allowable inclination angle of a splash lubrication can be largely set in any direction, back and forth, and right and left of the engine.
