PURPOSE:To simplify control operation, by memorizing teaching turning information in turning a machine body while advancing the machine body based on the set pattern and then backing the machine body and using the information for the subsequent turning control together with the set information of the set pattern. CONSTITUTION:When a stroke completion detecting sensor 9 senses completion of work stroke in one direction, a machine body is turned at an angle and in a direction set by a turning pattern setting means 13. The machine body is then backed by an operator and the backing distance is memorized by a memorizing means 14. The machine body is further backed while being turned in other directions and turned to the next work stroke side to memorize an azimuth after completing turning in the memorizing means 14. The next running control is carried out by a travel controlling means 15 based on the memorized information memorized in the memorizing means 14 and the set information set by the setting means 13.
