PURPOSE:To transmit an optical signal converted from signals from lots of signal points through one optical fiber only by injecting a light emitted with a signal from various detectors to a part excessively bent to the local parts of an optical fiber, transmitting the light up to the end and receiving and detecting the light. CONSTITUTION:One optical fiber 1 is looped back on its way, both ends A, B are connected to a light receiving and calculation circuit 6, and light emitting elements 3, 3... are provided on locally bent parts 2, 2... formed to positions corresponding to signal points for which lots of light signals are to be injected. Then a deciding circuit discriminates a fault by a signal detected at a detection circuit 4 to operate a driving circuit 5 emitting the light emitting element 3, thereby converting the signal into the optical signal. Then the optical signal from the light emitting element 3 is injected into the optical fiber 1 from the locally bent part 2 corresponding to the signal pint, and the signal light is detected and displayed by a light receiving circuit 6 at both ends A, B. Thus, lots of optical signals are transmitted through one continuous optical fiber.
