PURPOSE:To obtain the title flexible synthetic leather excellent in durability by laminating a base fabric with a surface skin material consisting of a polyurethane containing a specific group and having specific physical properties with an adhesive consisting of a crosslinkable polyurethane. CONSTITUTION:A release paper is coated with a polyurethane surface skin material 10-100kg/cm2 in 100% modulus prepared by reaction between (1) a diol containing =5wt.% of a polymeric diol carrying a group of formula I, (2) an organic diisocyanate and (3) a chain extender followed by hot drying to form a polyurethane film followed by thereon coating an adhesive prepared from (4) a diol containing =5wt.% of a group of formula II (R1 is methyl, etc.; R2 is H, methyl, hydroxymethyl, etc.; n+m=2), (5) an organic diisocyanate and (6) a crosslinking agent. Thence, the resultant sheet is laminated with a base fabric comprising natural or synthetic fiber followed by hot-air drying, thus obtaining the objective flexible, durable synthetic leather of good feel.
