PURPOSE: To prevent a hot and cold water mixture from the temp. dropping upon supply by a method wherein, upon hot water resupply, the current high temp. of hot water is used as the high temp. hot water data for computing the current distribution ratio and the target distribution ratio for the period of the time elapsed from a hot water resupply point to an assigned time. ;CONSTITUTION: A hot water inlet thermistor 23 in a hot water passage 4 of a hot and cold water mixing valve 5 detects the inlet hot water temp., a cold water inlet thermistor 24 in a cold water passage 14 detects the inlet cold water temp., a hot water outlet thermistor 25 in a mixing chamber 9 detects the hot and cold water mixture temp. and all the signals generated by the aforesaid thermistors are supplied through a controller to stepping motors 10 and 22 to control the momentum thereof. The motor control is defined by b=K.ax wherein (b) is the amount distribution ratio of hot water to cold water and x is the momentum of the motor 10. The current inlet hot water temp. is used as the data for computing the current distribution ratio and the target distribution ratio for the period of time elapsed from a hot water resupply point to an assigned time, whereby the input of an abrupt temp. change is avoided and a stable inlet hot water temp. data can be obtained by computation when the temp. of the hot water inlet thermistor 23 drops and the hot water inlet thermistor 23 is supplied with a high temp. hot water by resupply of the hot water.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
