PURPOSE: To seal a pair of joint materials easily in a highway-bridge expansion device, in which the joint materials are mounted by engaging the mutual projecting sections of mutual face plates on the openings of rail joints. ;CONSTITUTION: Under plates 14 inwards projected from each web plate 12, 12, mutually opposed under the projecting sections of face plates 11 and linearly extended in the longitudinal directions of the openings of rail joints are installed to both joint materials 13, 13.
