PURPOSE: To provide a residual amt. checking device which makes the residual amt. of a material to be sprayed easily and exactly identifiable from outside, is helpful for improving working efficiency, is simple in constitution, is highly durable, enables a user to expect a sure operation, is formable small and compact, facilitates a mounting operation, is capable of automatically stopping spraying of the material to be sprayed and is highly safe. ;CONSTITUTION: This spraying machine S is formed by connecting a floating ball housing cylinder 2 having light transmissivity to a feed cylinder which is a feed path for the material to be sprayed and housing a floating ball 1 having the sp. gr. lighter than the sp. gr. of the material to be sprayed into this floating ball housing cylinder 2. A communicating pipe 3 communicating with the upper part in a stirring tank 20 is connected to the upper part of the floating ball housing cylinder 2. An aperture 10 for feeding which is closable by the floating ball 1 descending in the floating ball housing cylinder 2 according to decreasing of the material to be sprayed is formed in this feed cylinder 5.
