Uses the original plate for die creation and the original plate for the said die creation the optical characteristic measuring method

PURPOSE:To enable the easy selection of a mold which is within permissible errors from plural molds in the stage of a master plate by molding the master plate from a transparent resin base plate and evaluating the optical characteristics thereof. CONSTITUTION:A metallic film 22 consisting of a metal having a good parting property from the mold metal is sputtered as an electrode on the mold-forming master plate 21. This film 12 is extremely thin. The master plate 21 has the same shape as the shape of a resin molding 25 of the optical LPF to be molded. The metal 23 for the mold is plated on the master plate 21 on which the film 22 is sputtered. The plated metal 23 is then stripped from the master plate 21. Further, the outside shape of the metal 23 transferred by plating is shaped, by which the mold 24 is formed. The resin molding 25 of the optical LPF is molded by using the mold 24.
