Large-capacity multi-axis type centrifugal air compressor

PURPOSE:To enable a compressor to be supported without using a two-storied construction of concrete foundation by making a portal base of steel skeleton skid construction of base members while mounting fixedly a box-shaped compressor base on legs of portal base. CONSTITUTION:A skid base 5 is mounted on a horizontal hard base plate G. L. The skid base 5 consists of a skid base floor 5a having section steels disposed in parallel and skid stud legs 5b made of section steel secured on four corners of said floor by bolts. Air coolers 2 are installed on the floor 5a, while a box- shaped compressor base 6 is mounted on the stud legs 5b and fixed thereto by fastening bolts 7. An oil tank 8 is received in the box-shaped compressor base 6.
