PURPOSE: To efficiently recover the slag peeled from a pipe wall by a cleaning means. ;CONSTITUTION: The front part of a robot body 1 which is made freely movable along the axial center C direction of the pipe P within the pipe by a traveling device is provided with a cleaning water injection nozzle 3 which is rotated around the axial center of the pipe by a revolving shaft 15. A cleaning plate 11 is disposed behind the cleaning water injection nozzle 3. A suction port 35 connected with a recovering hose 36 is formed at the recovering plate 11. The revolving shaft 15 is provided with 4 sheets of recovering vanes 21 in the radial direction in the front part of the recovering plate 11. The outer ends of these recovering vanes 21 are provided with tiltable vanes 33 which are mounted freely turnably via tilting shafts 32 inclined nearer the axial center side of the pipe the nearer the front end in the axial center direction of the pipe and the outer side parts 33a of which are brought into sliding contact with the inside surface of the pipe. These tiltable vanes are turned and energized to the outer side from the forward side in the rotating direction of the recovering vanes 21 by means of springs 34. As a result, the cleaning slag is sucked and flushed to the suction port side by the recovering vanes and the tilting vanes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
