PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the labor effectiveness of winding, by winding at least 1 set of two armature poles out of plural armature windings in such manner that said armature poles are wound in directions opposite to each other. CONSTITUTION:First, the initial part of winding of a lead wire is connected with a first commutator tongue 9a, then passes through a slot B between first and second armature poles 3a and 3b, and is wound round said first armature pole 3a to form a first coil 4a. Subsequently, the termination of said lead wire forming the first coil 4a is engaged with a common terminal 12, then further extended without being cut to pass through the slot B, and wound round said second armature pole 3b in the direction opposite to that of winding of the first coil 4a to form a second coil 4b. After that, a terminal treatment is performed for connecting the termination of said lead wire forming the second coil 4b with a second commutator tongue 9b and for cutting said termination of the lead wire.
