Repair method of horseshoe-shaped existing tunnel lining

PURPOSE:To reduce bending moment acting on the lining repairing material of the bottom for making the thickness of plates smaller by a method in which a downwardly projecting anchor is fixed to the bottom of a lining repairing material for the inner wall of an existing tunnel, and a grout is packed into the aperture between them. CONSTITUTION:An anchor 3 is set along the center of the bottom concrete, and spacers 5 of the same level as the anchor 3 are set at an adequate interval on both sides. Steel bottom lining repairing materials 6 and 7 are laid over the anchor 3 and the spacers 5 and integrally fixed by welding, and grout 4 is packed into the aperture 8 with the tunnel 1. After the grout is hardened, both ends of a steel upper lining repairing material analogous to but smaller than the arch of the tunnel 1 are connected by welding 10 to the other ends of the materials 6 and 7 to make up a lining repairing material 2. Grout 4 is injected from a grout injection port 11 into remaining aperture with the tunnel 1.
