PURPOSE:To enable removal of foreign matter after accumulation to be easily carried out, by fitting a strainer so as to face to the downstream side of a branched hole, and on the other hand boring a through hole communicating with at least the branched hole in the valve box so as to form a dust storage chamber. CONSTITUTION:When a strainer 6 is fitted, it is fitted in such a way that the opening 6' thereof is positioned on the opening 5' side on the downstream side of a water passage hole, so that the bottom part of the strainer is placed inside the water passage hole and is faced to the downstream side of a branched hole 8. In a valve body 3, the branched hole 8 facing downward from the center of the water passage hole 5 is pierced, and further a dust storage chamber 10 is formed in the valve box 1 by boring a through hole 9 which is communicated with the branched hole 8. While the foreign matter in fluid strikes against the outer surface of the strainer 6 and falls to be accumulated in the dust storage chamber 10 provided below the valve box 1, the accumulated foreign matter is exhausted by removing a plug body 11 in the closed-valve condition.
