PURPOSE: To obtain surely a polyester hollow molded item which has a color tone of black or dark green based on black and a luster at a line speed (or productivity) being the same or approximately the same as that for a transparent and colorless polyester hollow molded item wherein no pigment is incorporated. ;CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic polyester resin is colored into a black color by using a carbon black wherein the volatile matter (VM) and the specific surface area (SN₂) measured by BET method satisfies a relation expressed by the following equation (1), VM/SN₂≥0.09...(1).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
