By making use of flat plates with a thickness of 4mm for the anodes, and by mounting these in a unique manner in the horizontal direction of a traditional 50 mm pipeline, parallel to the water flow an optimal ion exchange and distribution is achieved. In order to increase the effectiveness of the invention and to maximise the specific properties of both the copper and the silver, use is made of a separate control system with polarity inversion for both the two copper anodes and the two silver anodes that are mounted between the filter pump and the filter and the swimming pool's return feed pipeline respectively.
