The invention concerns a mixture of essential and supporting amino acids intended for nutritional support and resolution of metabolic breakdown for polytraumatic, post-operation states and sepsis, with possible addition of other active and support compounds, particularly vitamins, electrolytes, trace elements, stabilisers or antioxidants. The mixture is composed of the L-forms of these amino acids: leucine, isoleucine, valine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophane, lysine, alanine, arginine, cystine, glycine, histidine, proline, serine and tyrosine.
