For the purpose of the checkup, individual pH-assessment of the stomach zones which form and neutralize gastric acid, should be carried out in several (4-8) patients simultaneously. The information receiving and processing process for all the patients should be performed continuously. During the checkup process, the heads of all pH-probes are to be calibrated in acidic and alkali solutions while a computer is receiving the data. The pH-level is read every minute during a 60-minute long basal period, and pH-level indications determine whether a stimulant or blocker of the acid emissive gland is prescribed. Individual indications of each probe are read during the 60 minute period after stimulant or blocker introduction. The device for implementation of the method consists of pH-probe, pH-gauge, measuring unit, computer and logging system. The measuring unit is connected with all heads of the pH-probe and computer with the help of an automatic connection system.
