The present invention discloses an interactive data system comprising: at least an answering unit wherein final viewers are located, the unit being provided with means derived from sources which are independent of the system to provide questions to the final viewer; means disposed in the answering unit to answer questions, and generate a single signal indicative of the answers, and an identification of the answering unit; means located in the answering unit for transmitting the generated signal to a local broadcasting station; and means located in the broadcasting unit for transmission of data derived from the signal, to an audience answering data center for data processing.
