PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition greatly well balanced in light- resistant fastness, sublimation-resistant fastness and moisture-resistant fastness and capable of giving a dyed product excellent in a solid dyeing property between fibers different in deniers by using disperse dyes expressed by specific structures, respectively. ;SOLUTION: This disperse dye composition contains a dye of formula I (R is a 1-3C lower alkyl, H) and a dye of formula II (X, Y are each chlorine, bromine; R is ethyl, phenyl) in amounts of 30-90wt.% and 10-70wt.%, respectively. The disperse dye composition is preferably obtained e.g. by mixing the dyes and subsequently subjecting the mixture to a particle-forming treatment comprising sufficiently wet-grinding the mixture in the presence of a formaldehyde condensation product of naphthalene sulfonic acid with an alkylbenzene sulfonic acid, etc., and a small amount of water until giving a particle diameter of approximately 0.2-1μm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
