This is a new device for removing incrustations which form on surfaces in contact with sea water, composed of one or more pulsing lamps with high frequency and luminosity operated at a very short distance from the surface to clean. In the application for pipes, the lamps are mounted on supports translated along the pipe by a worm screw shaft. Guides impart an oscillatory motion to the lamp supports in such a way as to direct the light flashes onto the bottom of the pipe and onto the adjacent lateral areas. IMAGE
