This invention concerns a new working procedure for making hand-crafted footwear of the type which envisages a perimetrical seam which joins the midsole with the sole below. The peculiarity of the procedure in question consists of the fact that such a perimetrical seam only joins the midsole to the sole, without also involving the uppers too. More precisely, this perimetrical seam is made to the outside of the uppers and along the entire edge of the midsole which is deliberately oversized with respect to the upper itself, the upper then being fixed to the midsole by means of a different perimeter seam located on the inside of the upper.
