Apparatus for the programmed collection and dispensing especially of money, of the type comprising an emergency power supply unit and essentially comprised of: a structure with a door in back, of limited access, said structure being able to contain a computer programmed to dispense at least the winnings consisting of the total sum of the valuables contained in the strongbox, upon attaining a predetermined combination; a coin slot, provided with a starting of the logic control unit and means able to identify the amount inserted; a mechanical lever for activating the apparatus, preferably situated at the side of the structure; a device to display messages of the system; a keypad for programming a timer to manage at least one strongbox; an assembly of strongboxes for collecting and dispensing the coins introduced through the coin slot, being composed of at least two adjacent strongboxes.
