Anti-noise and anti-fragmentation plates based on acrylic! polymers - comprise polymeric continuous films inside plates and having elastic modulus lower than one of PMMA, for motorway barriers, viaduct(s), and bridges
Antinoise and antifragmentation plates based on acrylic polymers comprise one or more polymeric continuous films placed inside the plates. The elastic modulus is lower than that of polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) and is = 30%, and/or elongation at break is higher than = 40%. Also claimed is a plate having a thickness of 10-25 mm, the film being selected from (a1) alkyl(meth)acrylate monomers, (a2) aliphatic urethane oligomers di(tri)(meth)acrylates; (b1) polyalkylglycols di- poly-(meth)acrylates, (b2) alkyl di-poly-(meth)acrylates, (b3) polyallyl-glycidyl ethers; and (c) alkyl(meth)acrylate of hydroxy or carboxy alkyls of 2-6C. Also claimed is a plate using a polymeric continuous film in which the components of type (a1) are (m)ethyl-, butyl-, isobutyl-, ethyl-hexyl acrylate, (b1) is tripropylene-glycol-diacrylate, (b2) is hexandiol-diacrylate, and cpd. (c) is selected from hydroxyethyl- and hydroxypropyl-(meth)acrylates, and carboxyethyl(meth)acrylate. Further claimed is a multilayer structure consisting of the described plates using multilayers of polymeric continuous film.
