Propellant fluids for aerosols comprise mixtures of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (HFC-134a), 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea) and optionally n-butane and/or isobutane, chosen from: (a) 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (5-88 wt.%) and 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane (12-95 wt.%); (b) 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (10-87 wt.%), 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane (12-81 wt.%) and n-butane (1-30 wt.%); and (c) 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (18-69 wt.%), 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane (30-81 wt.%), isobutane (1-30 wt.%).
