METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FIBER OPTIC LIGHTING AS WELL AS REGIONS ADJACENT includes a housing (11) vertically oriented so that it includes a light source (17) located near the upper end (15) of the housing (11) to direct the flow RADIANT towards the ends of a multitude of FIBER OPTICS (35) and to reflect REMAINING PORTIONS OF PARTS OR FROM RADIANT FLUX light source (17) in a lateral direction on the regions that surround it. IN THE HOUSING (11) is placed a light reflector (19) TO REFLECT THE SIDE PART OF RADIANT FLUX, and includes a central aperture (21) REFLECTOR FOR THAT PART OF THE FLOW OF LIGHT RADIANT PASSES THROUGH THE CENTRAL PART THROUGH TO HER THE FIBER OPTIC ENDS (35). The same reflector (19) serves as a BAFLE on the underside thereof to deflect the air that moves into the housing (11) AROUND THE ENDS OF FIBER OPTICS (35) and through the opening (21) REFLECTOR (19) to the light source (17). A fan (37) disposed below the BAFLE (19) in the housing (11) moves the ambient air through an opening in the lower portion (13) of the housing (11) AND AROUND THE ENDS OF FIBER OPTICS (35 ) and through the opening (21) in the reflector (19) to the light source (17) to air then through the top (41) of the housing. REFLECTOR AND BAFLE (19) FIBER OPTIC ALSO SUBJECT (35) aligned with the central portion of radiant flux emitted by the light source (17) through the opening (21) in the reflector (19).
