Process for the purification of glycosylated amino acids which are suitable for the solid-phase synthesis of glycopeptides A process for the purification of glycosylated amino acids which are suitable for use in the synthesis of glycopeptides using solid-phase technology is proposed. During reactions for the glycosidation of amino acids conjugates between amino acids and sugar (glycosylated sintones), which have to be purified, are obtained. Ordinary deionized water in the purification by reverse- phase chromatography at preparative level is used for this purpose. The process according to the invention makes it possible to have available quantities of the order of grams of the purified glycosylated sintones mentioned, which is crucial for the development of glycopeptides having biological activity as possible drugs. The process is therefore mainly of interest to the pharmaceutical sector and to the market in derivatives for research into bioactive compounds.
