The intra-vascular dwelling balloon catheter forarterial perfusion according to the present invention isused for an operation of, for instance, an aortic aneurysm,and comprises a basic body of the catheter which is formedinto a flexible as a whole and has a prespecified length anda balloon attached to a tip section of the basic body ofthe catheter. An inner bore with the front edge closed andthe rear edge opened is formed in the basic body of thecatheter in the side backward from a periphery of the bal-loon. A side hole or a plurality of side holes for perfus-ing blood is provided in the basic body of the catheter at aposition near the rear section of the balloon , and a sti-letto is detachably engaged in the inner bore of the basicbody of the catheter from a rear edge opening section of thebasic body of the catheter so that the side hole is closed.Ribs for fixing are provided on an external surface of theballoon.
