The invention relates to the preparation of rigid foamed materials containingurethane groups using a mixture of blowing agents of 5 to 50 parts by weightof C3- and/or C4-alkanes and 50 to 95 parts by weight of cyclopentane. Theinvention also relates to the use of the rigid foamed materials thus preparedas composite elements or for filling hollow spaces during the construction ofrefrigerators.
