A polymer stabilization composition comprising three or more specified beta -diketones is new. A polymer stabilization composition comprising three or more specified beta -diketones of formula (I) and/or (II) and (III) is new. R1-COCH2-COR2 (I) R2-COCH2-COR2 (II) R1-COCH2-CO-R1 (III) R1 = (Y)n-Ph; Y = H, 1-12C hydrocarbon chain, alkoxy, silyl, non-reactive halogen; Ph = phenyl; R2 = H, 1C alkyl, 5-12C hydrocarbon chain optionally interrupted by one or more O, aralkyl, alkoxy, silyl; n = 0-3; In (I) R2 is less than 5C and Y is 3-12C and in (II) both R2 groups together are at least 10C. An Independent claim is included for a composition comprising PVC and the stabilizing composition.
