REAGENT FOR ARYL-C-GLYCOSYLATION AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING ARYL-C-GLYCOSYL COMPOUNDS

Problem: to provide a novel reagent for aryl-C-glycosylation attaining a high yield and exhibiting an excellent selectivity toward β-configuration and a novel process for preparing aryl-C-glycosyl compounds characterized by using the reagent. Means for solving the problem: a reagent for aryl-C-glycosylation comprising at least one Lewis acid and at least one member selected from among salts of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid and trifluoroacetic acid with silver and mercury; and a process for preparing aryl-C-glycosyl compounds with the reagent.
