A frequency stabilization method of a semiconductor laser is provided, which includes the steps of injecting an output light beam from a semiconductor laser into an optical resonator to produce a transmitted light having a peak frequency of the optical resonator, detecting the transmitted light beam having the peak frequency to produce an output signal about a detected power of the transmitted light beam, controlling the power of the transmitted light beam to be kept constant based on the output signal, and controlling an oscillation frequency of the semiconductor laser to be in accordance with the peak frequency.
