A pair of cores is described, apt for use in an electric rotary machine, comprising a stator element and a rotor element that rotates with respects a rotation axis, said elements being separated by an air gap. The main characteristic of the pair of cores consists in that said cores are both obtainable from a ferromagnetic tape, worked so as to have a series of slots and teeth and wound according to a spiral procedure, and worked in such a way that at least a part of every tooth is bent respect the rotational axis, so as to obtain an air gap of a truncated cone form.
