Methods and systems for storing a plurality of data blocks within a memory device 222 are known. The method stores two blocks of data elements by assigning different accessing methods to the two data blocks. Three examples of how to allocate a data block are provided by the above method. The first method causes the data elements of the data block to be accessed by columns in the address space, the second method causes the data elements to be accessed by the columns in the address space, and the third method allows access along the diagonal line in the address space. The data element is a digital word representing the exponent of the polynomial expansion.
