FIELD: experimental medicine, anesthesiology. SUBSTANCE: premedication is effected by intramuscular injection of droperiodol, atropine, dimedrol, ketalar with subsequent, in 3-4 min, injection of relanium. Initial anesthesia is effected by intrapleural injection of ketalar, and basic anesthesia is performed by intravenous injection of sodium thiopental with its potentiation by fraction injection of analgetics. The invention allows avoidance of side effects in form of suppression of breathing, provision of sufficient anesthesia in prolonged operations on animals without artificial ventilation of lungs.
