FIELD: medicine, pediatrics. SUBSTANCE: method involves determination of lactoferrin in milk sample taken at the 5-th day after delivery. Period of child nursing is prognosed for 1 month (not less) if lactoferrin content is ≅ 1280 mcg/ml. Precision of method is 79% that ensures to carry out the prophylaxis. EFFECT: increased precision of method.
