FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves investigating reacting cell membrane structures by setting spontaneous rosette-forming reaction with subpopulations of immunocompetent cells. The number of rosette-forming cells is counted 24 h later beginning from the moment the tested substance is intraperitoneally administered to experimental animal. Their increase being observed with respect to control level, membrane toxicity properties are considered to be detected in xenobiotics. EFFECT: simplified method of toxic substance screening.
