FIELD: production of wood-fiber material. SUBSTANCE: proposed wood-fiber material contains (mass %): wood fiber 90-99, adduct of hydrolyzed lignin and ammonia being oxidized in the presence of organic solvent 1-10. Said adduct being used as a binder is prepared by oxidation of hydrolyzed lignin with the help of molecular oxygen or with the help of air in the medium of aqueous solution of organic solvent (aqueous solution of acetone being preferred), thus prepared oxidized lignin is isolated of the solution.
