FIELD: hydraulic engineering; water-development works located in bays of individual ecological structure. SUBSTANCE: protecting structure 3 made in form of continuous dam connects opposite banks of bay and separates water area of HARBOR 4 from it; square area of water basin of HARBOR shall not exceed 0.2 to 0.4 of square area of bay but shall be no less than 3 to 5 rated areas of turning circle inscribed in water basin for ships of maximum dimensions for this bay.
