METHOD FOR ACUTE RADIATION SICKNESS PREVENTION IN EXPERIMENT

FIELD: medicine; radiation biology, particularly, prevention of acute radiation sickness. SUBSTANCE: method involves endonasal multiple irradiations of patient with low-energy laser beam prior to and after radiation exposure, with laser radiation power being of 1 mW, and irradiation time being progressively reduced from 15 to 5 seconds; moreover, first session of irradiation is carried our 24 hours prior to exposure, and successive sessions - after exposure with intervals between sessions ranging from 24 to 72 hours; whole course of treatment with gradual reduction of exposure consists of 10 procedures. EFFECT: higher efficiency of treatment.
