METHOD FOR PERFORMING ORTHOTERMINAL REPAIR OF CYANOTIC HEART DISEASE

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves creating both anastomoses between superior vena cava and the ends of the crossed pulmonary artery on working heart using end-to-side anastomosis mode involving both ends of the pulmonary artery and lateral side of the superior vena cava. The right pulmonary artery is crossed between two clamps in oblique transverse direction in the zone conjugated with the superior vena cava. The superior vena cava is parentally detached to the extent of 1/2-1/3 of its lumen with an instrument like Satinsky clamp and the lumen is opened within the detached portion area to make anastomosis. Then the right auricle is opened under dry heart condition to create or dilate interatrial defect. Interatrial tunnel is formed connecting the vena cava openings, suturing right auricle wound edge, distal with respect to the coronary sulcus, to the lateral edge of the interatrial defect and median wall of the right auricle along the line connecting the medial edges of vena cava openings. The right auricle is tightened by suturing the right auricle wound edge, adjacent to the coronary sulcus, to the formed interatrial tunnel. EFFECT: improved functional results. 2 cl
