FIELD: filtration technics. SUBSTANCE: membrane includes a carrier composed of at least one layer of inorganic material with average and maximum pore size 0.05-0.3 and 0.5-2.0 mcm. Such membrane is manufactured by a method including hydrolysis of transition metal alkoxide alcohol solution (weight ratio 0.5-10) with aqueous solution of a peptizer at 50-100 C, peptizer/alkoxide and water/alkoxide molar ratios being 0.1-1.2 and 50-300, respectively. Thereafter, obtained sol is mixed with polymer thickener to viscosity 50-100 MPa s and resulting mixture is applied onto a carrier preliminarily impregnated with sol-incompatible polymer, allowed to stand to remove moisture, and baked.
