FIELD: therapeutic treatment of somatic diseases in combination with elements of psychotherapy. SUBSTANCE: patient is subjected to routine examination to prescribe pathogenic treatment course to him (her). Inventive novelty resides in fact that patient is additionally made to attend sessions of psychotherapy. Any sessions begins by exposing to patient logical arguments to make him believe in prescribed treatment. Psychiatrist explains in easily accessible and spectacular form nature of befallen disease and mechanism underlying curative effect of prescribed drugs. Patient is asked to close eyes and to listen to a musical composition executed with sound intensity 10-15 dB, in moderately slow tempo of from 76 to 120 accents per minute, with following sequence of tonalities: Sol, Fa, Do major, Re, La minor, Sol, Do, Re minor. Against this musical background, psychiatrist pronounces verbal formulae to form visual image for normalizing disturbed function of system and/or organ. Next intensity of sounding musical composition is increased up to 25-30 dB, while tempo is increased up to 150-180 accents/min. Music is executed in major tonality and following sequence is adopted to continue music: Mi major, La minor, La flat major, Fa, Do major, La minor, Re, La, Do major. On basis of visual image thus-formed psychiatrist forms sensual image of new model of attitude to healthier life. EFFECT: invention permits to enhance therapeutic value of treatment. 6 cl
