METHOD FOR SELECTING INDIVIDUALLY SUITED SCHEMES FOR POLYCHEMOTHERAPY OF OVARY CANCER CASES

FIELD: oncology; chemotherapy of malignant neoplasms. SUBSTANCE: method makes it possible to select most matched and effectively acting pairs of chemical preparations by calculating expected efficiency factor values of jointly acting cytostatic agents administered in ovary cancer cases on basis of MTT test results indicative of patient's individual sensitivity to specific preparations. Use of proposed method under clinical conditions showed that efficiency of therapy, assessed as duration of unrecidive disease period, using suitably selected pairs of cytostatics increased by 15% in patients affected with III ovary cancer stage. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of chemotherapy.
