METHOD OF EXPOSURE OF GEOLOGICAL OBJECTS IN THICKNESSES FROZEN FOR MANY YEARS

FIELD: oil and gas geology, provision for trouble-free drilling of deep hole in permafrost regions. SUBSTANCE: method is meant for increased accuracy due to study of such properties of rocks which characterize lithological inhomogeneity in sections of thicknesses frozen for many years to the greatest degree. Holes are drilled to bottom of permafrost, samples of rocks are taken, quantities of salts dissolved in porous waters per weight unit of rock and temperature of start of freezing of porous waters are determined. Intervals of section where first of mentioned parameters has anomalously low values and where second one has anomalously high values are taken in the capacity of geological objects. Moisture content of rocks, volumetric weight with due account of capacity of deposits overlapping found object are determined by core and value of anomalous seam pressure is calculated. EFFECT: increased accuracy of proposed method.
