FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: bacteriophage is isolated from sewage and the following selection. Strain Bacteriophagum salmonellae is deposited at code "СФ"-17 and shows lysing activity with respect to salmonellae of all 5 groups and resistance to bacteriostatics action (methacid, ampicillin, quinozole). Bacteriophage-base preparation has the following components, in 1 ml preparation: phage "СФ"-17 10⁸-10¹⁰ particles; bacteriostatic 0.1-2.5 mg, and aminopeptide - the rest. Preparation shows high effectiveness against salmonellosis at aerosol, oral and combined using not depending on salmonella species. EFFECT: high effectiveness of preparation.
